First international course on:
The Attractive Workplace
2-5 October 2006, Brunnsvik Training Center, Ludvika, Sweden.
Organised by Nordic Institute for Advanced Training in Occupational Health) NIVA, supported by the Nordic Council of Ministrers (norden).
Objectives After the course the participants will have a deep understanding of the concept of attractive workplaces, as well as means to organise local and regional processes with the aim of improving job attractiveness in this respect in certain branches.

Target group Researchers, occupational health professionals, actors in trade and industry, and others with an interest in workplace improvement.
Pedagogics In addition to traditional lectures, the course will include practical exercises based on material from different workplaces of considerable proportions. For this purpose digital media including video and other illustrations will be used. All course participants will have a copy of the course documentation, including the video-recording and other illustrations on CD-ROM.

Location and accommodation The course will be held at Brunnsvik training centre in a beautiful environment in the south of Dalarna. The course site "Brunnsviks folkhögskola" is situated some ten kilometres from Ludvika, by the lake Väsman. The nearest airport is situated 50 kilometres from Ludvika, on the outskirts of the town Borlänge. Ludvika/ Borlänge can be reached by train from Stockholm as well. There is also a bus connection between Borlänge and Ludvika. Rooms have been reserved at Brunnsvik for the course days Monday to Thursday. The price of a single room with full board is SEK 4220/ person. The price includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee breaks, as well as the cultural activity on the second course day. Please, note that your accommodation will be charged by NIVA after the course. Minor changes in the prices might be possible.
