As part of the work programme for 2003-2005, the European social partners launched a study into restructuring in the new Member States. A country dossier was prepared by an expert for each of these countries and then presented at a national seminar attended by the social partners in that country.
These dossiers and national debates were used to draw up an overview of common issues and challenges that were identified as priorities for the EU25. The results will be presented and discussed at a final conference to be attended by around 200 social partners from EU Member States.
The working languages of the conference will be English, French, German, Czech, Slovenian, Polish, Hungarian, Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian.
Participants will be staying at: TULIP INN BOULEVARD Hotel, Av. du Boulevard 17, 1210 Brussels.
The ETUC, who is managing this project, will cover for travelling and accommodation costs.

On the day of the conference, you will receive a reimbursement form to be returned by post, with your tickets (and boarding cards if you travelled by plane).
ETUC will not reimburse plane tickets beyond economy rate and you are invited to take the cheapest tariff available (APEX, etc.). If you have any queries, please contact us before buying your ticket. Car expenses will be refunded on the basis of a first class train ticket. In this case, mention the towns of departure and arrival. Taxis are not reimbursed.

Taustainfot projekti kohta:
29. märtsil 2006 toimus Eestis UNICE (Euroopa Tööandjate Keskliit)/EUAPME (Euroopa Väikeste ja Keskmiste Ettevõtete Assotsiatsioon), CEEP (Riigi osalusega Ettevõtete Euroopa Keskus) ja ETUC (Euroopa Ametiühingute Keskliit) ühisprojekti "Kesk- ja Ida-Euroopa sotsiaalpartnerid" raames sotsiaaldialoogi seminar, kus tutvustatati 2005.a sügisel Eestis UNICE tellimusel Poola konsultatsioonifirma Bernard Brunhes Polska (BBP) poolt läbi viidud uuringu “Study on restructuring in new member States” tutvustamine. 2005.a oktoobris külastasid BBP esindajad Ida-Virumaal Eesti Põlevkivi, kohtusid Majandus- ja Kommunikatsiooniministeeriumi majandusarengu osakonna majandusanalüüsi talituse peaspetsialisti Mario Lambing'uga ja Tööandjate Keskliidu tööturunõuniku Thor-Sten Vertmanniga.
Sama projekti raames toimus Tallinnas 7.-8. veebruaril 2005 Euroopa ja Eesti sotsiaalpartnerite ühiste jõududega Eesti tööandjatele ja ametiühingute esindajatele seminar "Kesk- ja Ida-Euroopa sotsiaalpartnerite osalemine Euroopa sotsiaaldialoogis: millised on sotsiaalpartnerite vajadused?"
