Eesti Tuleviku-uuringute Instituut koostöös Friedrich Naumanni Fondiga kutsub Teid 29. augustil hotellis Radisson Kieli saalis toimuvale seminarile, kus põhiettekande teeb Klaus Bünger (endine Saksamaa rahandusministeeriumi riigisekretär). Hr Bünger räägib euro-kogemusest Saksamaa vaatevinklist.
Sissejuhatuseks kommenteerib eurole ülemineku probleeme Eesti seisukohast Andres Sutt (Eesti Panga asepresident) ja TNS Emori projektijuht Jaanika Hämmal tutvustab vastavaalaseid Eestis läbiviidud avaliku arvamuse uuringuid. Seminari moderaator on Eesti Tuleviku-uuringute Instituudi direktor Erik Terk.

Klaus Bünger
Staatssekretär a.D. ZEI, University of Bonn
Klaus Bünger is a Senior Fellow at the Center for European Integration Studies (ZEI), University of Bonn, Germany, since 1999. He gives lectures on „Economic Aspects of European Integration“ at the University of Bonn (2000 and 2001 at the University of Halle). He is a member of the faculty of the European Masters Program of ZEI and of the faculty of the International MBA Program of IgBS (International graduate Business School, Zagreb, a project in partnership with Indiana University, Kelly School of Business and eiz -ekonomiski institut zagreb). He studied economics at the University of Hamburg (Germany). From 1974 to 1989 he was civil servant at the Federal Ministery of Economics of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany (Department for Economic Policies). From 1989 to 1993 he worked as economic adviser at the German Parliament with the faction of the FDP, the liberal party of Germany. In 1994 he became Director General at the Federal Ministery of Economics (Department for Economic Policies) and was elected as President of the Economic Policy Committee of the EU. From 1997 to 1998 he was State Secretary at the Federal Ministery of Economics.
