In recent years, the City of Vienna has taken a wide range of environmental measures. Our staff will present the concepts that make Vienna an ecological model city. Various tours around the most important waste management facilities are on offer:

Tour 1 “Incineration”: Spittelau Waste Incineration Plant and EBS plant at Simmeringer Haide (limited number of participants)
Tour 2 “Waste Treatment”: waste treatment plant, Rautenweg landfill, recycling of road-sanding gravel, Lobau composting plant
Tour 3 “Waste-water Treatment in Vienna “: visit of Vienna’s main waste-water treatment plant
