European conference on developments in industrial relations
The conference will focus on recent trends and developments in industrial relations in the Member States of the European Union. The first part will review the consequences of economic and societal trends for industrial relations in the EU Member States. Special attention will be given to industrial relations in the new Member States. A key-note speech will be followed by reactions from social partners and policymakers. The second part will consist of fi ve parallel workshops in which experts from the Foundation and research institutes will present and discuss fi ndings on recent developments in social dialogue and collective bargaining at the various levels. Finally, a broad forum will discuss the main challenges for social dialogue and collective bargaining and how these are confronted in the various European Member States.
