BOSMIP seminaride sari on Euroopa tööandjate ja tööstuse keskliidu UNICE, EL liikmesriikide ja liitujariikide ühisprojekt. BOSMIP on lühend projekti pealkirjast "Business Organisations as Single Market Players".
BOSMIP projektis osalevad liikmes- ja tulevaste liikmesriikide tööandjate organisatsioonid.
Projekti eesmärgiks on ettevõtluse edendamine liitujariikides ning ettevõtjate rolli tähtsustamine integratsiooniprotsessis ja vastavate reformide teostamisel.
Projekt on suunatud liitujariikide tööandjate organisatsioonide ja UNICE positsiooni tugevdamisele nendes riikides. Liitujariikide tööandjate organisatsioonide tugevdamine võimaldab organisatsioonidel efektiivsemalt kaitsta huve EL institutsioonides ning nõustada ettevõtjaid acquis osas.
Nimetatud eesmärkide täitmiseks toimuvad UNICE eestvedamisel, ajavahemikul juuli 2003 kuni detsember 2004 järgmised seminarid:
I seminaride voor (EL praegustes liikmesriikides): sotsiaalvaldkond, ühtne turg, keskkond, maksustamine;
II seminaride voor (EL liitujariikides): liitujariikide tööandjate organisatsioonide võimekuse tõstmine käbi nende poolt pakutavate teenuste kvaliteedi parendamise: konkurentsipoliitika, riigiabi, riigihanked, normatiivid, kaubandusbarjäärid, regionaal- ja ühtekuuluvuspoliitika.
Toimunud seminaridest esitab ülevaate Uudiskiri.
NEWSLETTER
Since the launch of the UNICE - BOSMIP project in September 2003 four seminars on different subjects have already taken place. With the help of the newsletter I will try to keep you informed about the project status and the latest developments.
The Confederation of Dutch Industries (VNO-NCW) in collaboration with the Confederation of German Employers (BDA) organised the first seminar on social affairs on 7 and 8 October 2003. Nine participants from CEEC federations and their member companies came to Brussels. The first day focused on the development and methods of social dialogue, the lifelong acquisition of skills and qualifications and finally on the new opportunities of teleworking. The use of small working groups provided a useful opportunity for the participants to discuss the problems and the developments they face in their home countries, with speakers from BDA, VNO-NCW, ETUC and UNICE.
On the second day of this seminar the CEEC experts received an overview of European social legislation, focusing especially on health and safety rules and aspects of the organisation of working time. During lunch a discussion on pensions and the respective changes we will face in the future was organised by the VNO-NCW.
The second seminar, which was organised by the Federation of Austrian Industries in Vienna on 5 and 6 November 2003, covered the topic "Lobbying and Communication". On these two days the experts from the acceding countries received wide-ranging information on lobbying at EU level, lobbying at national and also regional level, including a discussion on human resources and the different communication strategies and tools for effective lobbying. In the afternoon experts from all the 10 eastern European countries (with good representation of the Polish Confederation) were given the opportunity to take advantage once more of having small working groups with lobbyists from different levels.
On 19 November 2003 the Federation of French Industries (MEDEF) with the help of the Federation of German Industries (BDI) organized a seminar on intellectual property rights in Paris. Although it was difficult for some of the CEEC federations to be represented MEDEF welcomed 10 participants - two participants each represented Bulgaria, Lithuania and Poland! On the evening before the seminar MEDEF organised a meeting with a member of the French Parliament. The focus of the seminar was on giving an overview of IPR legislation in the EU, the strategic impact on enterprises and useful strategies for eastern countries SMEs. Software protection and the reinforcement of counterfeiting legislation were also issues which were discussed.
Last but not least, the Federation of the Greek Industries organised last week on 3 and 4 December 2003 a seminar on environment at UNICE. Apart from ten participants from the accession countries (again with a big representation of Bulgarian and Latvian experts) a large number of Greek experts showed good interest in the presentations. The main focus was on the environmental decision-making process in the EU institutions, different environmental policy areas (air, water, waste, natural resources, chemicals and so on) and the procedures for implementation of EU legislation by member states.
